Descripción:2-(Chloromethyl)furan is a nucleophilic reagent that is used as a pharmaceutical ingredient. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of skin conditions and solid tumours. 2-(Chloromethyl)furan reacts with hydrochloric acid and hydrogen chloride at high temperatures, creating hydrogenated reaction products. The nucleophilic reactivity of 2-(chloromethyl)furan makes it an excellent candidate for use as a control agent for polymerases, such as RNA and DNA polymerases. This product also binds to binder molecules and can be used in chemical reactions. 2-(Chloromethyl)furan reacts with ns3 protease, which is an enzyme that plays a key role in HIV replication, leading to the inhibition of viral production.
