Descripción:Calcium bromide is a chemical compound that is used as an antiseptic and disinfectant. It is soluble in water at a concentration of 52% by weight, but insoluble in alcohols and ethers. Calcium bromide has been shown to kill bacteria by reacting with the fatty acid component of their cell membranes, leading to structural analysis and constant pressure. The reaction mechanism for this process involves the formation of hydrogen chloride gas. This gas reacts with water vapor in the air to form hydrochloric acid, which then reacts with calcium bromide to produce hydrobromic acid. In addition, calcium bromides can be found in emissions such as particle or phase transition temperature transfer mechanisms.
