It also has high thermal stability and can be used in the synthesis of polymers with high ionic conductivity. 1CIP also inhibits ion channels, which are proteins that conduct ions across a cell membrane, leading to an increase in membrane permeability. 1CIP is able to inhibit cellular processes such as protein synthesis and myeloid growth.
