(1R)-(-)-(10-Camphorsulfonyl)oxaziridine is an enantiopure chiral compound. It is a proton pump inhibitor that inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme, which is involved in acid secretion. The stereoselective synthesis of this compound has been achieved using a stepwise amide formation and an asymmetric synthesis. This process involves the use of both enantiopure and homochiral starting materials, as well as a deoxyvasicinone to produce the desired product.
