Descripción:Cisplatin is a chemotherapeutic drug that inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to DNA. It binds to DNA and inhibits transcription and replication, leading to the accumulation of p-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitor in the cell membrane, which prevents the efflux of intracellular caspase activators. This leads to an increase in apoptosis among cancer cells and a decrease in healthy tissue. The toxicology of cisplatin has been studied extensively, with low-dose groups showing no signs of toxicity.
