Clenhexerol hydrochloride is a bronchodilator that is used to treat asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is a sympathomimetic agent that stimulates adrenergic receptors in the airways and increases the force of contraction of the muscles in the lungs. Clenhexerol hydrochloride has been shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, but it is not as effective as other drugs (such as salbutamol) for this purpose. This drug should not be administered by inhalation because it can cause irritation to the respiratory system. It is also not recommended for patients with hypersensitivity reactions to any component of clenbuterol hydrochloride. Clenbuterol hydrochloride has been found to have linearity within an analytical range from 10-100 ppm with a limit of detection at 0.5 ppm.
