Descripción:Clocortolone is a corticosteroid that binds to adrenergic receptors, leading to the inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines and leukotrienes. Clocortolone has been shown to be effective in the treatment of inflammatory diseases such as asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, or psoriasis. This drug can also be used in ophthalmic preparations because it is biocompatible and non-toxic. Clinical studies have shown that clocortolone is an efficacious anti-inflammatory agent in cancer therapy. Clocortolone has been repositioned as a drug for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) with high values of choroidal neovascularization
