Información del producto
- 5-Pyrimidinecarbonitrile
- Pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile
5-Cyanopyrimidine is a molecule that has been shown to have cytotoxic effects against cancer cells. It binds to the ATP-binding cassette transporter, which is a protein that transports molecules across the cell membrane, thereby inhibiting the growth of cancer cells. 5-Cyanopyrimidine also inhibits the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which is involved in cell proliferation and differentiation. The binding of this molecule to EGFR results in inhibition of kinase activity and subsequent cell death. In addition, 5-Cyanopyrimidine has been shown to bind hepg2 cells with high affinity, suggesting that it may have potential as an anti-Hepatitis C drug.
