Descripción

Cholesterol is a sterol that is an important structural component of cell membranes. It also aids in the production of hormones and bile acids, as well as being an essential component of the human diet. Cholesterol is produced in the liver and can be ingested from animal products such as meat, eggs, poultry and dairy products.
