Descripción:Cis-1,2-Cyclohexanediamine is a diamine that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. It was synthesized in an asymmetric synthesis from 1,2-cyclohexanedione and ammonia. The reaction mechanism is thought to involve the formation of a copper complex, which inhibits transcriptional regulation by binding to DNA. Cis-1,2-Cyclohexanediamine has been shown to be effective against metastatic colorectal cancer cells in tissue culture and against the l1210 murine leukaemia cell line.
