Chlorodicyclohexylphosphine is an aryl halide with a carbonyl group and a phosphine group. It forms palladium complexes that are catalytically active in the Suzuki coupling reaction, which is used to synthesize enantiomerically pure organic compounds. Chlorodicyclohexylphosphine has been shown to have biological properties, including anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities. Studies have also shown that it can be used as a catalyst for asymmetric synthesis, which generates molecules with different shapes and chemical properties.
