5-(Chlorosulfonyl)-2-fluorobenzoic acid is a halogenated aromatic compound that functions as a nucleophile. It is used in the synthesis of sulfonamides and other compounds. 5-(Chlorosulfonyl)-2-fluorobenzoic acid has been shown to react with amines, thiols, and alcohols via intramolecular nucleophilic displacement.
