TCFH is a chloroformamidinium salt used as a precursor in the synthesis of TFFH, a coupling reagent for amide formation and peptide synthesis. TCFH itself can be used as a coupling reagent as well for peptide synthesis, or in the synthesis of more reactive uronium-based reagents to be used in esters and peptide synthesis.
