Cefoselis is a semisynthetic cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth by inhibiting the synthesis of cell wall mucopeptides. It has been shown that cefoselis is absorbed into the bloodstream and eliminated through urine and feces in humans. The pharmacokinetics of cefoselis sulfate were studied after intravenous administration in healthy volunteers. Cefoselis sulfate was found to be well tolerated with no adverse effects on kidney function, blood cell counts, or other laboratory parameters. This drug also showed a good chemical stability against trifluoroacetic acid and microbial infection in human serum. Cefoselis sulfate has been used as an antimicrobial agent for the treatment of infectious diseases such as bacterial infections and fungal infections.
