Carbonylchlorohydrotris(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium is a quinoline derivative that can be used to prepare a ruthenium complex. It has shown apoptotic cell death activity in human lung cells. The molecule flips and undergoes cyclohexanol formation, which is the preparative method for carbonylchlorohydrotris(triphenylphosphine)ruthenium.
