Descripción:2-Chloro-L-phenylalanine (2CLP) is a fatty acid that can be used as a pharmacological agent. It has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect in the form of an inflammatory lesion in animals. 2CLP is also able to inhibit monoamine neurotransmitters, such as phenolic acid, which is involved in energy metabolism and mitochondrial functions. 2CLP has been shown to increase bile acids and decrease serum cholesterol levels. The chemical structure of 2CLP makes it difficult for the body to absorb it. This chemical has not been tested on humans, but studies have shown that it may be effective when combined with other drugs.
