Descripción:Chrysophenine is a yellow dye that is soluble in water. It can be used as a reactive dye for textile printing, paper, and leather. Chrysophenine has a high resistance to radiation and acidic environments. The optimum concentration of chrysophenine is 0.5%. This dye has been shown to have an adsorption capacity of 2-3 times its weight in water, which may be due to the hydrophobic nature of the molecule. The reaction mechanism for this dye is unknown but it is believed to be a free radical addition polymerization process.
