4-Chlorophenyl)phenylmethylamine is a synthetic cytostatic drug that belongs to the class of amines. It is used as a starting material for the synthesis of other drugs. The enantiomer of 4-chlorophenyl)phenylmethylamine has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, and it has also been shown to be effective against levorotatory forms of the disease. 4-Chlorophenyl)phenylmethylamine may have antioxidative activity due to its structural similarity with carbamazepine, which is known to have this activity.
