Información del producto
- 2-Amino-6-methylbenzonitrile3-Amino-2-cyanotoluene
2-Cyano-3-methylaniline is a chemical compound that has been used to stain the cell walls of Streptococcus. It can be synthesized by a stepwise reaction with chloroaniline and ligation. 2-Cyano-3-methylaniline is also used to label polyester fibers for identification purposes. This dye is irreversibly bound to the fibre, so it cannot be removed after staining. The affinity of this dye for the streptococcal cell wall is due to its structure, in which there are two nitro groups that can react with the amino group on the cell wall. 2-Cyano-3-methylaniline is also spontaneously generated during diazotisation (the process of making diazo compounds) and lysis of cells.
