Descripción:Cymoxanil is a fungicide that is used to control a wide variety of foliar and soil-borne diseases. It inhibits the growth of bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis, which can lead to cell death. Cymoxanil has been shown to have genotoxic effects in animals and humans, although it does not show mutagenic activity in standard assays. Cymoxanil has also been shown to be toxic to aquatic organisms and terrestrial plants. It is toxic to insects, mammals, birds, and fish when ingested orally or through inhalation.
