Descripción:Coumarin 102 is a fluorescent probe that is used to study the hydrogen bonding interactions of drugs and other compounds. It has a hydroxyl group that can form intermolecular hydrogen bonds with other molecules. Coumarin 102 is soluble in methanol, which makes it useful as a solvent for studying drug-drug interactions. Coumarin 102 also shows fluorescence when excited by light. The matrix effect can be used to measure the solvation and kinetic energy of coumarin 102. Coumarin 102 has been shown to emit light at an excitation wavelength of 350 nm, and this emission can be quenched by solvents such as methanol, ethanol, water, or acetone.
