• Descripción: 2-Chloro-4-fluorophenoxyacetic acid (2CFPAA) is a fluorescent compound that is used as a fluorescence tracer. It has been shown to be an optimal fluorescent label for cereals and can be detected in the range of 0.1-1 ppm in various foods. 2CFPAA has also been used as a fluorescent marker for immunoassays, including fluorescence polarization immunoassays, which measure the concentration of antigens or antibodies. Fluorescein is attached to the 2CFPAA molecule and binds to specific antibodies that are bound to antigen particles. The binding of fluorescein to the antigen causes an increase in fluorescence polarization, which can be measured with a fluorometer and quantified by measuring the degree of polarization.
