2-Chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl ethyl ether is a molecule that is used as a pesticide. It is also used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other aromatic compounds. 2-Chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl ethyl ether has been shown to have synergistic effects when combined with other pesticides such as the growth factors epidermal growth factor and angiotensinogen. This compound has been shown to be effective in the treatment of inflammatory diseases in animals by inhibiting angiotensinogen activity. 2-Chloro-1,1,2-trifluoroethyl ethyl ether can be synthesized from fluorine and bromine and has a molecular weight of 216.17 Da.
