5-Chloro-N-{1-[4-(difluoromethoxy)phenyl]propyl}-6-methyl-4-pyrimidinamine (CMPP) is a new chemical compound. It has a synergic effect with the chemical structure of chloramphenicol and is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. CMPP has a synergistic interaction with mitochondrial cytochrome, which is an enzyme that participates in the oxidation of organic substances. The synergistic interaction between CMPP and chloramphenicol results in an increased growth regulator effect. This leads to an amide bond that causes protein synthesis inhibition, leading to bactericidal activity.
