This drug also has hypotensive effects and can cause organic solvents to crystallize into stable crystal forms. 3-(Piperazin-1 - yl)prop2en1one is used as an inhibitor of angiotensin II, which is involved in the regulation of blood pressure and other cardiovascular disorders.
