Descripción:2,4-Dibromothiazole is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) antagonist which selectively blocks the binding of acetylcholine to nAChRs. It has been shown to be effective in treating inflammatory bowel disease by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators. This drug also has anti-inflammatory effects and can be used for the treatment of autoimmune diseases such as Crohn's disease. 2,4-Dibromothiazole also has low energy properties and is used in palladium complexes for cross-coupling reactions. It can also be used as a cancer chemotherapeutic agent and as a cardiac drug.
