N-[2,4-Dichloro-5-[4-(difluoromethyl)-3-methyl-5-oxo-1,2,4-thiadiazol-3-yl]-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methanesulfonamide is a cationic surfactant that has been shown to have an effective dose of 10 mg/kg. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cervical cancer cells and fatty acid synthesis in plants. The nitrogen atoms in this molecule are responsible for its cationic nature and its ability to cause plant death by interfering with photosynthesis.
