When used in a polymerase chain reaction, it amplifies the DNA sequences at the 3' end of the gene. The product of this amplification has been shown to inhibit genetic disorders such as metabolic disorders, iron homeostasis, and leukemia. This agent also inhibits acidic fibroblast proliferation and pluripotent cells. This drug has been shown to have a molecular docking analysis with pharmacological agents and may be helpful in treatments for various diseases.
