4-(4-dimethylamino)phenylazo)benzoic acid N-succinimidyl ester is a fatty acid that binds to leukocyte antigen. It also has protease activity and is a monoclonal antibody. 4-(4-Dimethylamino)phenylazo)benzoic acid N-succinimidyl ester has been shown to be toxic in animal studies, but the toxicity profiles of this compound have not yet been established in humans. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and may be used as an adjuvant therapy for cancer or cancer tissue.
