Descripción:DMP is an antibacterial agent that has significant antifungal activity. It is used to inhibit the growth of bacteria in food and water, as well as for disinfecting surfaces. DMP inhibits bacterial formamidase, which is involved in the synthesis of l-tryptophan from l-serine. DMP also inhibits pyrrolase and piperidine, which are enzymes involved in amino acid metabolism. Research has shown that DMP is effective against aerogenes and other bacteria with a similar mechanism of action.
