Descripción:N,N-Diethyl-beta-alanine (DEBA) is a nucleophilic agent that reacts with epoxides. It has been synthesised and structurally studied using X-ray crystallography and electron diffraction techniques. DEBA has shown to have reactive properties and has been used in the synthesis of monoalkyl epoxides. The synthesis of DEBA was first reported by the research team of L1210 leukemia cells. This substance was found to be an effective inhibitor of growth in this cell line, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis.
