• Descripción: 2,3-Dichlorobenzylchloride (DCBC) is a synthetic antibiotic with an inhibitory effect on HIV infection. It belongs to the group of dichlorobenzyl amides, which are antimicrobial agents and are used in pharmaceutical preparations. DCBC has also been shown to have anticancer effects, as it inhibits the synthesis of DNA and RNA in cancer cells by interfering with the action of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase. DCBC also has antihypertensive properties and can be administered orally or intravenously for patients with cardiac hypertrophy.
