Descripción:
3,4-Diamino-2-hydroxypyridine (3,4-DAHP) is a novel ns3 protease inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the activity of this enzyme in cancer cells. 3,4-DAHP binds to the active site of ns3 protease and inhibits its ability to cleave proteins. This inhibition leads to decreased cell proliferation and an increase in apoptosis. 3,4-DAHP is also effective against a range of cancer cell lines with different levels of ns3 protease expression. This compound has shown anticancer activity against several types of cancer cells including breast and prostate cancers. 3,4-DAHP also has inhibitory effects on other enzymes such as alkoxycarbonyl reductases and nitros reductases.
