Descripción:
2,5-dimethylthiophene-3-boronic acid is a boronic acid that has been optimized for the synthesis of phthalocyanines. The compound is synthesized by the multistep reaction of 2,5-dimethylthiophene and 3-bromo-1,2,4-triazole. This compound undergoes a cycloaddition reaction with an aryl halide to produce a two-ring structure with one oxygen atom. It can be used as a solvent in organic chemistry and has been shown to have photochromic properties.
