Descripción:Disperse Red 17 is an anionic surfactant that has been used in the textile industry to dye cellulose and other fibers. It can also be used as a dispersing agent for basic dyes, fluorescent dyes, and quinoline derivatives. Disperse Red 17 is soluble in water and can decompose in the presence of acids. Disperse Red 17 has a low acute oral toxicity and low skin irritation potential. Disperse Red 17 has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Disperse Red 17 is not known to be a respiratory allergen or sensitizer at concentrations up to 100 ppm.
