5-Deoxycajanin is a recombinant polypeptide that is found in the host cell. It has been shown to inhibit the transcription of genes involved in cellular processes such as replication, transcription, and translation. 5-Deoxycajanin also inhibits the expression of nucleic acid molecules. The gene expression profile has been analysed using microarray technology, which showed that 5-Deoxycajanin inhibited the expression of several genes. The profile was then compared to a control profile to identify differences between treated and untreated cells. These changes were related to cancer development and progression.
