Información del producto
- diethyl (1R,2R)-cyclopropane-1,2-dicarboxylate
Diethyl trans-1,2-cyclopropanedicarboxylate is a cyclopropane that is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of maleate esters. It is also used to produce dimethyl fumarate and dimethyl maleate. Diethyl trans-1,2-cyclopropanedicarboxylate can be synthesized from dibromomethane and diethyl malonate. The yield of this reaction can be optimized by using a Wittig reaction or by using dimethyl fumarate as the starting material. Diethyl trans-1,2-cyclopropanedicarboxylate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties when it is converted into diethyl ester and aldehydes.
