Descripción:Diethyl malonimidate dihydrochloride (DMD) is a chiral compound that has been used as a cross-linking agent to stabilize proteins and as an antiviral agent. It has been shown to be effective against resistant infections, such as hepatitis C virus, and can be used to immobilize proteins or viruses. DMD also binds to human chorionic gonadotropin, which is a hormone produced during pregnancy. DMD can be used in the immobilization of enzymes for use in biocatalysis and the stabilization of proteins for use in immunoassays.
