• Descripción: 1-(2,3-Dichlorophenyl)piperazine is a chiral compound that has been shown to have anti-hepatitis properties. It can be synthesized from a diazonium salt and an aromatic amine. The physiological function of 1-(2,3-dichlorophenyl)piperazine is not well understood. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of fatty acid synthase in experimental models, but it does not seem to inhibit other enzymes involved in the redox cycle or fatty acid metabolism. There are some indications that this drug may bind to CB2 receptors and act as an antagonist. 1-(2,3-Dichlorophenyl)piperazine has been used as a reagent for Suzuki coupling reactions.
