Descripción:DNC-d8 is a residue monitoring agent that can be used to measure the presence of maduramicin in animal tissues or milk. The reaction monitoring technique involves injecting a standard amount of DNC-d8 into the sample and measuring the peak area using a UV detector. This method is also sensitive, as it can detect concentrations as low as 1 ppm in milk or 5 ppm in tissues. The validation process involves injecting standards at different concentrations, analyzing them by liquid chromatography, and comparing the results with those obtained from known standards. Formic acid is used for extraction of the samples, acetonitrile for derivatization, and mass spectrometric detection for quantification.
