Descripción:DOTA-NOC is a radiolabeled peptide that is used as a diagnostic agent for imaging and diagnosis of meningioma. The radioactive isotope 99mTc is bound to the peptide, which then binds with high affinity to the tumor cells. DOTA-NOC can be used to differentiate between benign and malignant tumors by measuring the uptake of the peptide in the tumor. This agent has been shown to bind to receptors on cells, such as growth factor receptors, and to induce their proliferation.
