Descripción:N,N-Dimethylbutylamine is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C5H12N2. It is a colorless liquid. N,N-Dimethylbutylamine can be used as a solvent in the preparation of organic compounds and in gravimetric analysis. The compound has been studied as an alternative to ethylene diamine for blood sampling and transport properties. In addition, it has been shown that N,N-Dimethylbutylamine can inhibit the growth of infectious agents in cell culture by binding to amines. It has also been used to treat wastewater and may be useful in the treatment of hydrochloric acid or hydrogen bond reactions.
