Descripción:Des(isopropoxyethyl) bisoprolol is a quaternary ammonium salt that is used in wastewater treatment. It has been shown to be effective in removing sulfides from wastewater effluent, as well as hypobromous acid and sulfoxides. Des(isopropoxyethyl) bisoprolol can be used as an immobilization agent for the removal of pollutants from wastewater, such as HgCl2 and CdCl2. The compound does not show any toxicity in the environment.
