Descripción:
N-Desmethyl imatinib is a metabolite of imatinib, a drug used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia and other types of cancer. N-Desmethyl imatinib is an inhibitor of tyrosine kinases that binds to the ATP binding site on the kinase domain of the target protein. It has been shown to have a rapid onset of action in human liver cells and its pharmacokinetic properties have been studied in detail.
