Dexamethasone 21-palmitate is a sample preparation agent that is used to prevent the loss of cells or particles during storage. It can be used in vitro as an immunosuppressant to inhibit lymphocyte transformation, particle, and cell nuclei formation. Dexamethasone 21-palmitate is also used for eye disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and human macrophages. The product may also be used for choroidal neovascularization in eye disorders.
