Descripción:Diflorasone is a synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties that are similar to those of betamethasone. It is also used to treat skin diseases, such as inflammatory skin diseases and psoriasis. Diflorasone has been shown to inhibit the growth of cells in vitro by binding to the fatty acid receptors on cell membranes and preventing the binding of arachidonic acid. This prevents the production of prostaglandin E2, which is a mediator of inflammation. Diflorasone has also been shown to exhibit anti-cancer effects in animal models and inhibits tumor growth by blocking cell cycle progression at G1 phase and inducing apoptosis.
