Descripción:2,4-Dimethylbenzonitrile is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C6H5CH2CH2CN. It has two isomers: 2,4-dimethylphenylacetonitrile and 2,4-dimethylaniline. The former has been shown to have anti-tumor activity in vivo and potent antitumor activity in vitro. This compound also inhibits the synthesis of noradrenaline (NA) and can reduce respiratory control in lung fibroblasts.
