Descripción:Dazoxiben is a novel drug that was designed to inhibit endothelin-A (ETA) receptors in the body. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of ETA receptor binding and activation, as well as a competitive inhibitor of the synthesis of thromboxane A2. Dazoxiben has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in experimental models of bowel disease, leading to reduced intestinal permeability and improved microcirculation. The drug also inhibits cyclase and synthetase enzymes, which are involved in the production of thromboxane A2.
