Diacetone acrylamide is a chemical compound that has the molecular formula C3H6O2N2. It is a colorless liquid with a low boiling point and an unpleasant odor. Diacetone acrylamide has been used as an intermediate in the production of polyvinyl acetate. It can also be used as an additive to rubber, plastics, and other materials. The thermal expansion coefficient of diacetone acrylamide is similar to that of polyvinyl chloride and polystyrene, making it a useful material for constructing models of those substances.
