Descripción

Dimethylthiotoluenediamine is a reactive hydrogen bond that has been shown to inhibit corrosion in polymer films. It is also an organic solvent, a good amine, and an optical activity. Dimethylthiotoluenediamine has been used to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and can be found in coatings. This chemical reacts with fatty acids to form microcapsules which are useful for industrial applications. Its isomeric mixture makes it useful as a reactive hydrogen bond and as a coating on calcium carbonate.
